CPA Ontario is currently in search of an Adjudicative Tribunals Counsel who will be responsible for managing and directing the Adjudicative Tribunals (the Discipline, Appeal, Capacity and Membership Committees), providing counsel functions as well as implementing best practices to the disciplinary hearing process.

Director, Regulatory Accounting

The Director, Regulatory Accounting will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality control and risk assessment and mitigation processes for the Registrar’s Office. Reporting to the Registrar, the Director, Regulatory Accounting will lead operational reviews to assess Members’ and Firms’ compliance with regulatory obligations and recommend regulatory action when warranted.

The Public Accounting Licensing Board (PALB) is responsible for matters relating to public accounting licences, certificates of authorization and the practice of public accounting in the province of Ontario. This responsibility includes, but is not limited to, overseeing CPA Ontario’s licensing standards and processes related to licensure and issuing public accounting licences to practitioners. Members are appointed for an initial 1 year term and are eligible for reappointment for a maximum of 3 additional 3 year terms.
