    As a regulatory body, the NSAA serves to protect the public interest and advance the profession of architecture. The NSAA works with its membership and other stakeholders to establish high entry standards to the profession and maintain high standards of practice.  Members are governed by strict principles of ethical and professional conduct.

    On their behalf, we are looking for an experienced professional with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills as their Registration and Program Officer.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Under the direction of the Executive Director and with a working relationship to the Registrar, the Registration and Program Officer is the primary staff support to the Board of Registration. As a key member of the NSAA team, you will ensure all requirements for applications for membership, licensure, corporate permits, and renewals are met in accordance with the Architects Act, Regulations and By-laws. The secondary role is to provide support to implemented programs related to advancement of architecture in the public interest.

    Qualifications

    As the ideal candidate, you have well-developed verbal and written communication skills while maintaining the utmost confidentiality, superior knowledge of electronic information management, and exceptional attention to detail. In addition, you have a post-secondary certificate in business or administration combined with work experience in a regulatory environment.

    You possess strong customer service skills and can deal effectively at all levels and with different types of people. You also have solid project management abilities and experience managing complex records. Finally, you prioritize your tasks well, have a strong work ethic, and possess analytical thinking abilities.
